Default Atmosphere v Salford

It goes without saying boxing day will be a huge game and is really and opportunity for the squad to assert itself as a genuine challenger.
Going into the season everyone thought Salford were going to romp it, that they had the title already showed up. Well they're in the mix but they certainly aren't the runaway favourites everyone had them pinned down to be. They're beatable.
Its looking likely the crowd is going to be touching 8k, we need all need to play out part and make the racecourse as hostile as possible to Salford, cheer every misplaced pass, every wayward shot, every turnover in possession andsot importantly back out players on the pitch, we know where we're lacking but nothing can be done until January so let's give the players that have gotten us in the mix full backing from the off!

Our record of winning in front of crowds of over 6k is frankly appalling.

We must get over this "mind hurdle" or we're going nowhere this season

Do we still have a psychologist that the club can call upon as this is clearly down to a mental rather than a physical thing

Or perhaps give the psychologist a miss and increase the shooting practice time with extra coaching on technique.
If you want to win the raffle you have to buy a ticket.
Similarly, take the fear out of 'having a go', even if you make a mistake and miss, at least have a go and shoot when you can.

Place should be absolutely rocking - a win would give us a massive boost for the players and fans alike to take into the return match on NYD.

They have still got to be title favourites so exactly this. Salford are unlikely to come to frustrate so promises to be a xmas cracker

Will the game be on ?. After all this rain, the pitch was holding a lot of water at the last home game.

I would say our record in front of 6k crowds is probably 50/50 or better.
It's just at home that it seems to be worse.
Hopefully this team will show the size of the crowd isn't an issue
