Newport PO Final was definately the worst feeling.

Worst performance was a game against Halifax sometime in the late 90's in some obscure Mickey Mouse cup. I think we'd won the first leg 3-0 at theirs. Drove the 50 miles on a Tuesday night to watch us taken apart by a team 2 leagues lower than us. I can't remember if it was 4 or 5 nil but I remember they scored more goals than they brought fans. Never seen a team anywhere, in any sport, put in less than we did that night.

Eddie was in goal and made a mistake for one of the goals. The city fans were quite nasty around the town that day.

Hereford when we were finally doomed was pretty horrific.

But Newport in the Play off Final was the absolute worst. I sat and sobbed at the final whistle. Followed by two straight days of sulking and drinking cold Guiness at the Turf bar to try soften the blow. I have nightmares about “that” Omerod chance

Any game in this league to be honest, the play off final, Accrington away, Chesterfield away fa cup, being 3up at home against Blackpool and then losing theme 3-4, Huddersfield away lost 5-0, Gillingham away on a Tuesday night lost 4-0, but personally for me was an away trip to Notts County on a Tuesday night in August, we lost 1-0 in the last few minutes, we then went back to the car park to find my car had been stolen. We managed to get a lift off another mate who had space in his car. Hereford fa cup wasn’t the best either.

In terms of feelings P.O.Final and Chesterfield cup game, palace and Mansfield in 77 are the tops, but the worst for me was Colchester (i think) in the freight rover (or whatever it was called at the time) it was so dire we cheered when they scored in the 94th minute to knock us out

Flynn’s last game in charge, losing 5 - 0 at Tranmere. I was sitting with a mate who was a Tranmere season ticket holder in the middle of their fans. I politely clapped their first 2 or 3 goals, after the third I gave up all pretence and sat despondently while all around cheered and clapped and celebrated.
