We need another winger, striker and attacking midfielder. That's in addition to keeping Walker, anything less we have no chance.

A whole new midfield - clueless today.

God knows why we have signed Bobby Grant - his L1 link has gone before him - offered absolutely nothing today - same as at Salford.

Too slow, too laboured - beating Salford by 5 goals seems another lifetime ago - since then we have struggled and scored just one goal in 3 matches, two of them at home.

Not expecting anything at Bromley on that showing.

We have big problems on that showing.

The players who aren't going to cut it are as follows :


Roberts - Has never stopped a cross and offers nothing going forward
Young - Not good enough and too lightweight
Wright - Just not a footballer.Plays because he has the right physique
Grant - Looks a huge mistake signing.Terrible first touch, no physical presence and zero goal threat
Holroyd - Weak and no goal threat

That's a third of today's squad which is very worrying and we won't go up with this squad as is

We need :

2 strikers ( Decent start with Oswell)

2 midfielders

1 winger

Would be a crying shame to blow this after being in such a great position

People are rightly pissed off after a poor result and performance but saying this player and that player isn't good enough for a team challenging for promotion misses the fact that these are the players who got us into the position we are in.

Yes we may have one or two players in the squad who we need to move on but we've got a small squad and for me what we need is a bit more competition and quality throughout the team.

If Smith is going to be put we need to replace him to give more completion in defence as well as cover for the inevitable games Pearson or Lawlor will miss.

If Pyke isn't going to be fit anytime soon we should send him back to Huddersfield. I like him but he's not our player and he's no good to us in the treatment room. Oswell signing is good news but we need to look at what we are going to do when Tollitt leaves and if Pyke isn't an option. If Fondop isn't in Barrows plans let's get him a loan move.

We need a central midfielder to offer competition and a chance for Summerfield etc to have a rest. If Deverdics isn't up to it he needs to move on.

Seriously though, try and get James Loveridge in on trial. A brace today for a struggling Llanelli sides and one of the top scorer in the WPL like a certain signing was at Newtown.

We have suffered below par players for far too long and we continue to try and justify that time will make them better. Well it doesnt as has been shown time after time. Cut our losses and ship him out IMO and bring a new RB in.
