My suspicion is that there are fewer than 100 who really post regularly. Perhaps Rob could drag out some stats!
Software doesn't allow that to be easily pulled - closest is active logged in user average for last 30 days which is 863 a day. That is unique logged in people to RP however does not mean that is the same people today compared to tomorrow or if all post once or one hundred times as it does not split that.

Other stats indicate 22,096 'users' as defined by google over that same period with 2500 a 24hr active users about 7000 hitting RP weekly and 10k every couple of weeks. Google stats are fuzzier than raw log stats and count logged in and logged out users.

Not entirely sure this helps answer anything mind

The majority of these players have not been goal scorers in their careers and this clearly shows. Pyke hit the bar early on but then blazed 2 over and apart from Beavons effort the rest were wild (as per Roberts abysmal shot).

2nd half the inability to get onto balls across the 6 yard box until Young did and the general lack of creativity despite being in control of possession and the game.

Pyke did make a difference so hopefully he can build on that and get more consistency. We need a CF in the role and for all Beavons endeavour he doesn't look like scoring and I think GB has to fit Oswell into the starting line up even alongside Beavon or Stockton/Tollitt.

After Saturdays performance I would prefer Ruthers to Wright in the midfield 3 just for ball retention. I thought Akil was very poor.
Even you must agree the 6 league games in about 17/18 days was always going to test NL teams. Bank holiday fixtures are great for the gates, but the PL teams with their massive squads wouldn't entertain such a schedule. The Salford home game was only the start of it but I reckon those 2 big home games took more out of our players than people have given credit for and we were not the only team to suffer a few shock results. I'm sure now it is over, had some time on the training ground and have got that vital win we will see an upturn in form.

Like to think I post more realism than negativity but predictions are not that easy or we would all be rich.
Sometimes it can come across as negative simply due to the fact we've been in the title hunt nearly all season. It's always good to look to improve and push on but sometimes we can forget the good things about the club and results, like clean sheets and being really solid (before that awful run). It's not as exciting as smashing teams but we're still in there swinging. Improvement should always be sought but sometimes it's nice to embrace some wins (not in regards to Saturday).

Yes there are factors but he did sign players
Early and could have made things a bit easier.

I still think its down to basics though. Hit the target more often, practice, practice, practice and look to improve the quality.

I think we will see the same stuttering form unless we can address the away form problem. Lets see starting this week.

In the case of new signings 'stuttering form' may be due to fitness for example:

Tollit - 3 starts this season
Stockton - 3 starts since October
Oswell - 7 starts this season

Is it not inevitable that players available in January are going to take time to both bed in and also become available for selection ? My hope is that if we are patient (interesting concept for RP) then we will see better form from these players. People on here seem to think that these signings should walk into the team and score for fun but it simply does not happen that way.

Totally agree - you have hit the nail on the head.

Lots of people blaming Barrow for not making more changes - however it's surely unwise to introduce so many players who have hardly kicked a ball and expect them to play hard for the full 90 minutes - I genuinely believe that Barrow can see this - it's in his own interest to select the best team he can but it needs to include players who are optimum fitness - not sure how we get fringe players fit though - with no reserve fixtures I wonder if we ever arrange mid week friendly fixtures v local opposition - not an easy task in working hours.
