Especially when you cross reference this with Spencer’s 2014 WST candidate statement Spencer Harris (bizarrely nominated by his wife and seconded by Alan Harris which could be his Dad).
Anyway, reading his WST blurb it references his role in appointing Kevin Wilkin. So let’s assume his involvement in recruiting manages starts with Wilkin.
So in under 5 years we’ve now had 9 managers not including Billy Barr.
How the hell can we consistently get this so wrong given he works in HR?
Who is Spencer Harris accountable to? He seems untouchable at this club.

For the record I didn't vote for him, not because i don't appreciate his past achievements which he spends his statement telling us about and not because i don't appreciate his skill set but because his statement is 95% about what he has done, and only has one line about the future that tells us nothing and is a generic "will try to move the club forwards" I expect every WST candidate to want to move the club forwards. What i want to know is HOW you will move the club forward, what changes you want to bring about, tell me where you see weaknesses in the WST/club are propose your solutions.
it is not just Spencer who takes this approach to WST membership, from memory we had 3 votes out of around 6 candidates last year and I only used 2 votes as 4 people took the same approach as Spencer and gave generic bland statements that have contributed to the "don't rock the boat, keep the status quo" approach that we now see
