Really need to consider whether Carl Darlington is kept on at end of season as his appointment has coincided with constantly struggling to score goals. Team ingrained defensive counterattacking play under Keates, Davies,Ricketts,Barrow & Hughes.Not being able to score in 15 matches running in the first half is ridiculous .
Also would like to hear the Board's spin on signing 3 strikers in January (Grant,Oswell & Stockton),paying a fee for 2 of them,but not considered good enough for the bench even today when we are crying out for goals.
In terms of Brian Hughes would like to know the logic in selecting Holroyd and Rutherford up front when both have failed miserably up front all season.

I don’t think there is any doubt about the lack of quality in the team. The biggest issue is the midfield and wide players. They simply do not create enough chances. Darlington may well play a big role in our style and thus the team selection. The likes of Rutherford are there simply to put a shift in. We look like a national league Mourinho team without the quality.

My understanding is this 433 formation all comes from CD.
We dont have the players for this formation, we dont sign players good enough for this formation so its a real mystery. I have to assume that DK, SR, GB and now BH have some sort of advice that this is our preferred formation but without right players it wont provide us goals.

We just have too many players that couldn’t score in a brothel with a £50 note taped to the end of it

I think folk are mixing up cause and effect with CD.

He and the management realise most of our players have limited ability, hence we cannot play how we would like to.

Nevertheless, now is not the time for fans to give up, regardless how frustrating it all is. We still have an outside chance of making the top-3, but not if we carry on as we are.

BH and BF have brought in McGlashan, Agustien and Spyrou. We must use them and drop Wright and Rutherford, so we can play with 2 strikers.

Darlington has nowhere near the impact people think. Which is a problem in itself, but there’s loads of problems at the club and he’s not near the top of them for me
