Striker from FC United, scored 18 goals in relegated team. Seems to be quite a direct striker running at defenders.

I would like us to check out the following players:

Ed Williams - Kidderminster Harriers - Attacking Midfielder Pl 33 12 gls Age 23
Ben Garrity - Warrington Town - Midfielder
Daniel Udoh - AFC Telford United - Attacker 12 gls Age 22 let go by Crewe last year. Like Kurt Willoughby of FC United raw and young so a future prospect as all the above are. Just wish we could get in there before anyone else. Ed Williams looks a great prospect and all above are only down the road from the racecourse.

If we can get Tollit signed and Jack Muldoon (15 goals this season) I will start to believe the board are backing the manager. Just need that stand out Striker, it's whether the board are serious about making a concerted effort next season.

Good list Dixie. I always find it a pity there is no path for suggestions through to management team. We all remember Hinckley No 10 story when we should have been in there after game. I suggested Bogle (to the club) at least 18 months prior to any other interest and a few others.

Recruitment is so vital in this league, picking up 1 or 2 better players from other teams and bringing in NL experience. Ryan Lloyd great example that Dippers picked up before us.

Lets see how BH approaches it.

Caught a few glimpses of the game, what did you think of the Cardiff Met forward, he scored the winner v Caernarfon in previous round, he caught my eye.

Jones is an odd one because he did OK at Fylde and was offered a new contract there but chose to go to Bala . Lack of ambition?

He does seem like the sort of player we don't have.

If we got tollit and Muldoon and got a similar goal return of them like above combined with another tight defensive season we would be up. We were only about 8 goals away from automatic promotion.
