We will struggle to attract the best up and coming managers because anything less than promotion or decent play off run isn’t acceptable, we are kinda like Liverpool pre Klopp “it’s our year” etc. If a young manager is doing well lower down why should he jack it in to come to us and most likely struggle to get us up? He would just bide his time doing well under little expectation till another more attractive position comes up.

With our board it wouldn’t shock me if they went for a female manager next, imagine all the virtue signaling they could do to make themselves feel good. They’d just have to check all the boxes, no experience yup, cheap yup, work with darlo yup.

2 managers who simply took us to the play off places were whisked away by football league clubs. If that isn't an incentive then what is?
