Hughes received 3 months salary as is standard with the contract clause set by the board.
Finally someone came out and said it..

Pay peanuts and what do you get.

Mills was on treble Keates/Ricketts wage when you account for expenses and look where that got us.

Realistically though, unless you’re a first time manager desperate to prove a point there’s a very slim list of managers who’d work for £25/30k per year.

The managers salary needs to be looked at improving, maybe in terms of a greater performance based bonus as an incentive.

Totally agree...and manager pay needs to be made more consistent imo. If you were doing a job for 50% less salary than your predecessor would you be happy?

There’s far too many who have a shandy in the Bamfords and believe they know the inner workings of the club.

Let’s be realistic, its relatively sensitive information so unless you're a board member who’s seen the contract none of us actually know.. it’s all through the grape vine.. My source could be wrong but I’d be very very surprised if they were.

Almost as surprised as if the board agreed to pay Keates over £1000 a week when his only previous managerial role was that Glyndwr university team.. Then again, they did appoint Barrow and Hughes

Don't drink shandy or frequent Bamfords maybe my sauce is the right flavour

The numbers being bandied on here are quite insensitive and I think totally inaccurate.
Does anyone really know?

If they do then they should lock it away. I know 2 player salaries and they are firmly locked away.
