If we were to get to the final and national anthems are played would they play the English Anthem as we are representing England.

The question is would we want to win it ?
nope. Its worthless, so winning it is the same as not winning it, apart from messing up our fixture schedule further.

I think we should be realistic about this season . Accept that we are not somehow entitled to the divine right to success just because we are bigger than some other clubs and have huge floodlights. Forget promotion for this year , keep all the board and trust as they are and feed the club cat extra kitekat. Get behind Dean Keates and the lads to finish mid table, and go all out to win the wafer cup. Not forgetting to clap loudly with a smile on our faces. That should prompt a few hundred replies.

These two bits are spot on. Not so sure about the rest.

The divine right thing has always bothered me. Why is 'should be doing better', the same as 'we have a divine right to do better'?

Just a normal mid table finish then.

I still think with some adjustments to training and with Leighton & Hooper back in the squad we still do have a chance to push on up the table. As it stands we are 9 points off which at this stage of the season is achievable so long as Keates can repair whatever damage Hughes has done. Im not expecting miracles come the transfer window either so he has to work with what he has.

As for the Wafer cup if we keep playing the kids why not go for it?
