Interesting performance. 2 moments of class from Redmond and Hooper in the first 10 minutes were the difference. Redmond looked like he wanted the ball and looked a real good player in the first 15 and then went missing for the next hour. Whether that was his fault or perhaps we didn’t use him well enough. JJ and Grant were quite lethargic at times but JJ comes alive when he needs to make a run. Defenders are looking solid, but the distribution from the centre backs and goalkeeper was poor at times. Reid has potential, the 2nd half run he went on was brilliant....more of that please. 2 wins from the next 2 and we can stop looking down (for a bit).

Long time since we've had 10 shots on target!

Reid was very impressive at right back. Very strong and quick when he gets in his stride with excellent use of the ball. An ok performance overall but Lainton saved us from embarrassment. The big mystery still is how Grant manages to stay on for a whole game , or for that matter why he starts.

Only a win was acceptable. So job done.

Move on.

I cant believe I'm saying this... But we miss Wright.

We need to turn our away form on its head and get results at Maidenhead and Chorley. If we can get a decent return from those 2 matches (is 4 points too much to ask for?) then win the two home games after that, then we should be creeping into the mid table pack.

Good value for the money I pay every other week. Hope people now see what I meant about Reid Being a footballer ?
About time redmond delivered which he did for 20 mins.
Hooper could just be the January signing up front we need.
Grant needs a goal and is clearly not a winger.
Would swap their centre half for our captain any day. Jennings again proving that he is not a left back.
Newby always busy and would like him alongside the tireless young.
Crowd so much better than the predictions from the doom and gloom merchants.
Will be out of the bottom 4 with a win Saturday fingers crossed.

A few people calling for Patrick and Hooper to start together. Are they not very similar strikers who make the same runs? Or two dangerous players who we need on the pitch at the same time?

Abso-frickin'-lutely!.

Reid indeed looks like a player, Redmond for the first time looked like one too. Keep Patrick, and keep JJ relatively fit, and we've definitely got some goals in us.
