Ricketts had a clause that triggers if that clause was met by any club wanting him that they can approach and talk to him.

Rumour at the time was that Ricketts himself told them about his clause... hence we couldnt do anything about what happened about him leaving.

and he hardly "Jumped Ship" .... he left to manage a L1 club.... who woulda thought a young new manager with no doubt enthusiasm and aspirations to better his career would want to move to a club 2 leagues higher.

We have to wait until January, because as a Welsh Club playing in the English National League we are bound by the international transfer window (this does not apply to the England based National League clubs), and these rules mean we cannot make any permanent signings until the transfer window is open in January.

Laughable really, we should of had players waiting outside the training field for the council bloke to open the gate on January 1st.

i maybe wrong but im fair;y sure they said 100+ appplications..

and last time they said 20+ valid or serious applications.

of the 100+ applications how many was Wrexham fans or Chester fans etc etc taking the piss ?

20+ solid applications with all the junk applications taken out of the equation is still a good number considering the league we are in. its not as if we are going to be attracting premier league or championship managers
