Undoubtedly Good footballer to be fair and good luck to his management career

But your right - its all about him and he has answer / excuse for everything

Hence the endless list of clubs and misdemeanours along the way

A top player for us. Also presumably giving up his time from a weekend off to come over and do it for nothing. Be interesting to see how his managerial career goes. I think he will do very well based in what I heard today. If only we had fleet woods money he might of taken us up. Can’t blame the lad for tripling his wage, it’s a short career.

Echo this. Listened to the whole 90 mins and Fowler was superb to listen to.

He even managed to pull Mark Griffiths tongue out of the WSTs arsehole trying to taste Spencer’s crunchy nut corn flakes.

Of course a 3-0 home win helps.

Lee Fowler was a very good player with some issues. what he says about Saunders is true.

Folk can slate him but he was missed when he left.

I didn’t hate keates for leaving. I wished him well and would of done the exact same thing when he went to Walsall. More money, a higher level and closer to home. Surely anybody sane would have made the same decision.

My grievance is Spencer and his pals giving him his old job back. When he left he should of been told in no uncertain terms that there was no road back should it all fail at Walsall. It was a bad call and it should not have been made.

Fowler was a very talented footballer who clearly had distractions off the field. A wasted talent in many ways. He was outstanding for us in the 98 point season up until he left for Fleetwood. We should have refused any approach from Fleetwood, regardless what they were offering to him. It would of been better for us if he wasn’t playing at all, rather than our nearest rivals.

Kevin Thornton was of a similar type. Hugely talented footballer who lacked the mental strength and desire to keep him at a level he could of played at.

i'm sure you would be ok with Ricketts returning who again left with much more of a sour taste in mouth than Keates. least keates had a valid reason.. home town club and his boyhood club who he supports.

unlike ricketts who had no affiliation with shrews at all
