Are there other clubs on the brink of collapse ?

It's quite frightening what has happened at Bury - not seen or heard of any news updates for sometime - as though they never existed - just shows how close to the edge of the trapdoor some clubs are perched.
A Phoenix Bury club in the tenth tier, whether this replaces the old Bury club remains to be seen https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football...-season-tenth/

Three if Bury start below this league next season.

Four if Bury go into this league next season (unlikely).

A reduced amount of relegation spots will be in effect all the way down to the league they start in I’d imagine.

Let's just get away from any relegation spot. Then I won't care how many there are.

Why wouldn’t there be 4 relegation spots as usual?

Won’t bury start several leagues below - as chester did when they reformed?

Because there are only 23 teams in league 1 so each division will have 1 less relegation spot but same number of promoted teams so if you work it out it means 3 spots for national league

3 teams will go down from League 1 but 4 still go up from League 2. To compensate for that, 1 team goes down from League 2 to ensure they don't start with 25 teams the following season. 2 still get promoted from the National League while only gaining 1 from League 2, so to ensure there aren't 25 teams in the National League the following season, only 3 teams will go down rather than 4.
