But - cannot argue the fact that most of his signings have been good and the team that played on saturday were a joy to watch

So credit where credit is due
Fair play, he took a risk making so many changes, he could have taken the easy option and thought BH squad were good enough, simply under performing just needing a bit more organisation and motivation to turn things round.

It's in all our interests for Keates to succeed.
Given what he inherited he has done ok and we will start all over at this level come August.
That will be first objective achieved and a sigh of relief.
The next test will be close season and his decisions with both the players and current coaching staff ins and outs will be there to be openly judged by us all on RP.
He is likely to have a very busy summer!

Davies & Darlington need to go , get in an experienced no 2 , and turn all the negativity into positivity ,

All good stuff and great to be positive - hopefully I'll join in soon but we are far from being out of trouble yet, we need to win a few more games before my underpants are totally safe.

Good job we’ve managed to win a few games, as still 2 points above the drop zone. Could really have been deep in trouble
If 3 go down we look to be safe, if it’s 4 then we still have work to do. 50 points won’t be enough

It would be interesting to see what kind of manager Keates would be at our level, without the negativity of Darlington holding him back.

People getting carried away here. Look at the table.

He took us backwards to start with, at an alarming rate and its only by throwing money at it he's got us to the dizzy heights of 17th, still only 2 points off the relegation zone. Three teams immediately below us all have a game in hand.

Signings look promising but we're still in the mire. I don't think we will be relegated and will probably finish around where we are now. The test comes in the summer. I suspect Pearson is off and a big squad rebuild is on the cards. He'll need to get us challenging next season because lets be honest he's got zero credit in the bank with fans. Start badly and he'll be a goner.
