Could also be worth turning two-factor authentication on for the WST / clubs twitter accounts if they are not already. If they are, this tweet is even more bizarre.

Gary Mills outstayed his welcome and we wouldn't pay his assistant off which was always suspect. Did we really recieve a fee or was he held under contract to prevent a payoff? A great many lies were told regarding Mills too, particularly around training.

Then the cries of Keates being the cheap option. Tweet makes sense.

Did we cash in on Keates to pay the money back I wonder, it's not normal for a manager to leave under such circumstances.

We as a club have form with this, Ricketts and Fowler immediately spring to mind.

Whoever wrote it showed a lack of education by writing "lend" instead of "borrow."

I doubt too that "The Club" would not have been bailed out by WST if it had ever happened.

WST did not have sufficient funds at that time (according to WST board meeting minutes).

The lease was signed for The Racecourse that year, it was claimed at the time that a proper survey was not done due to the amount of work required to bring the stadium up to even a safe standard after being given the keys.

A plea was made by the WST to raise £200k I recall, no idea how much of that was raised.

Don Bircham and Barry Horn also quit in October, the board decided on a power grab too. Saying they had the skills and time to cover both roles, seems if the £100k shortfall is true it was a way to ensure it didn't come out. Remember the warchest that suddenly went missing too.

It won’t show in the accounts of it was all dealt with in the same financial year. The accounts only show creditors at the end of the financial year not ones that were repaid before that date

So I think there are three scenarios possible here
1) someone hacked the twitter account and has made this up
2) someone with legitimate access to the twitter account made this up
3) there is truth to the story and someone has decided to leak it
