That's a great point LR. At Boreham Wood, with the seconds ticking away, Rutherford was on the edge of their box. We were winning two one and we all expected him to run with the ball into the corner. However, inexplicably he hit the ball across their goal without looking up. There was no Wrexham player there. They cleared up the wing, crossed, we panicked and conceded an equaliser. If we had kept it in the corner we would have had three points and been top of the league. The next game at Dover the idiotic Grant gets himself sent off. If those two games had turned out differently I am sure we would have had a completely different season.
