It must just be a perfectly timed coincidence that some posters have crawled back on here with elections soon and immediately go on the attack and seem to know things others don't. When you are blindly backing those who are ruining this club then don't expect a fanfare welcome or an easy ride. It'll soon be time to serve Lindsay Pete and co a dose of their own medicine. Then watch them play the victims. |

Neither behave this way when other information has leaked for years, other posters did it to me regarding Ricketts. Or how about when Keates walked out, happens all the time with managers apparently. Even Stevie Wonder could see what's going on. Last edited by GiggityGiggityGiggityGoo; 29th June 2020 at 11.44:42.. |

Re: "we do not know who the interested parties are"
Given the state of the club on and off the pitch at the moment is it any wonder people are peeved?
It's not like back when we were pushing for automatic/play-offs and things were seemingly fine off the pitch in the main. We have dropped far away from that stage it seems. I'd be more concerned that people aren't a bit outraged at where we currently find ourselves. I say this as someone who argued on here for years on behalf of the club/WST when they were taking some licks. |

Re: "we do not know who the interested parties are"
while still have some vestiges of democracy left in this once great nation, everyone has their right to have their opinion, i disagree with todd almost completely but as he says he has his opinion and while i respect his opinion i disagree, i certainly love Wrexham fc but i can not and will not condone the current ownership model nor will i become a member so therefore i have no alternative than to estrange myself from a part of my life i never thought i would have to but i cant be a part of it and many others feel the same.
If members vote or whatever to give the current model the go ahead to carry on then so be it, non members can take their own actions to leave the trust with the feelings of the majority of fans, non members, this club will slowly die if we leave it continue, if all non members and disgrntled members, firstly do not buy season tickets and secondly abstain from games, then there is the possibilty of a quicker demise of the club but with the benefit of despatching the current set up, i deont want that but it is clear by the current posturing of the powers that be that they will not give in and they are relying upon the sympathies of well meaning fans, whose ideologies better suit fans ownership but the model run its natural course years ago, to continue withis model, even replacing current deirectors will only result in slow, painfull, lingering demise, maybe the quicker way would be better for all |

Wst public statement is online. Here it is. https://wst.org.uk/wp/?p=1334 I can’t see what Todd has posted that isnt in the above statement. NWD isn’t ‘a former WST Board Member’ and so clearly isn’t the source of the leak. Everyone who doesn’t share the anti-WST mob opinions isn’t automatically a ‘club killer’ and best mates with WST board. Calm down and lets move on. |

Re: "we do not know who the interested parties are"
Cheers dragonspark, good post.
And by the way, I certainly don’t think everything is perfect right now. Clearly mistakes have been made - appointing Bryan Hughes was an example. However, I am of the opinion that change should occur through the existing structure of 100% fan ownership. I also think that living within our means and co-operative structures will become more and more relevant in our society over the coming years due to the deep economic recession that we are about to enter. |
