Granted there would be little benefit in the player raising it as a mistake - for BG nothing to lose and everything to gain.

However this is Wrexham - virtually every match report on the official site is regularly littered with mistakes - which just goes to show that nobody properly proof reads the documents before hitting the 'send' button.

In addition, where does this information come from ? source ? are contracts private ? - well the whole content can't be and surely the powers that be should be able to provide some confirmation of when the last contract took effect and it's duration - no more no less - standard information published when a player signs for a club - then we go to the Manny Smith situation - again transparency does not appear to exist - some information and detail needs to remain private but basics could be revealed surely.

Thats the main issue in a nutshell, why haven't we been told of Grant's contract extension this time round? We've no idea of it's length beyond what Spencer Harris said last night, if he can tell a selected group, why not everybody else?

And why tell various supporters groups ahead of WST members? Shouldn't we be first to know these things?

Surely there are multiple pages which have the length of contract on? It's a typo on every page? Surely if this mental rumour is true it wouldn't hold up legally!

Anyone got number for itv... Let's get judge tinder on the case

This post is absolute bollocks.

FAW Rule 71 Contracts of Professionals:-
71.1 the contract shall state the minimum length of the contract from its effective date. The maximum length of a contract shall be five (5) years.

Article 18.2 FIFA RSTP
The minimum length of a contract shall be from its effective date until the end of the season, while the maximum length of a contract shall be five years.

Exactly this. This fits into an agenda people have against the club. I get it but you make yourself look like an idiot if you believe things like this and use it against the club

It'll be as I said above that he gets a year's extension each season if he hits certain targets on goals, appearances etc.

If you want to believe he is on a 12 year contract then good luck to you but you probably also believe 5G mobile masts cause covid
