I believe that £1000 in Community shares gets a lifetime membership.

It strikes me that the older you are the likelihood is your less computer literate and obviously have to scroll back further than most - why not allow a simple manual input.

Cheques - well lets admit they are outdated and a pain in the arse - additional work for everyone - trip to post box or post office with paid for envelope and stamp - then the poor chap at the other end has to collate / administer / cross reference and bank them, Not saying that they should not be available as some will still get by without on line facilities and the older people get the more difficult it is for some to break habits of a lifetime.

However still think the on line version could be improved upon.
Thanks Red Light
I used PayPal in the end
Yes all fields filled in just wouldn’t move on ..I was using iPad & Mac maybe a compatibility issue

Anyone had issues joining up?

I know a few people who cannot join, Funny how our own head of IT claimed his worth saving the club money 50k a year apparently yet nobody can join the wst ... to get a vote with an American investor about to be announced.

Absolute shambles that it doesn’t work and actually makes me wonder if it’s on purpose!

For those people who have rejoined how can anyone who is joining for the first time do so with no WREX ID?

There are numerous issues here - it smacks of not being trialled & tested properly from a punters point of view - during the lockdown my shopping has virtually transformed 'totally' - I have purchased numerous products and have to say paying £15 to re join the WST is the most difficult / problematic system I have encountered.

The downside of not having a better on line system is it is creating totally avoidable work for others - many seem to be giving up and sending in cheques - some may not bother at all.

The on line system needs re visiting by those that have set it up - some guidance notes / problem solutions attached to the system might help some.
