Don and Barry are well-liked and would be good to see them back but I don't see how them being the investors would significantly increase the profile of the club, especially as they were both directors just 4 years ago.

It'll be ridiculously underwhelming. As we've seen a million times, the board (Spencer et al) have a habit of applying a play on words to increase interest only for the reality to fall as flat as a pancake

Don Bircham hasn't got £2m to burn I wouldn't have thought although I stand to be corrected as I think he was good for the club. I'm sure he's very wealthy but to potentially have this type of money to invest (initially, which suggests this is just the start) you need to be in the £30-50m (or more) bracket

Not even sure Mr Savage falls into this bracket

Whoever this is has got a serious amount of cash to put £2m in with the likelihood he (or she) will never see it again, or not for a number of years at least
