Oh. I genuinely agree with you. My point is why is this one being done differently, and if someone has decided to change the rules, why have fans not come first? |

My best guess is that whoever records this is going to have little to no vested interest. And subject to restrictions on what they can say like happens with a lot of media projects right? So literally there to record. I'm guessing any footage will be coming out in months if not years if it's for a documentary so has no weight or bearing in context to wider fanbase? It's also possible that they could turn the recording feature on during the meeting. So might be nothing to do with a documentary, might be that RR want to watch the meeting back to get a feel for it if they aren't going to be there in person. The other thought I had is that if it is for a documentary... Its going to make money. If the price of admission involves agreeing to this but it ultimately means some money coming into the playing or infrastructure budget then I think we could probably be more accepting of this? |

My take is that this reflects a positive and professional attitude from the buyers, something that many fans are not used too.
Bodes well for the future in my opinion.

[QUOTE=Rob;2404944]Great!
Oh. I genuinely agree with you. My point is why is this one being done differently, and if someone has decided to change the rules, why have fans not come first?[/QUOTE 1 if you are a member and don’t want yourself recorded then you can either turn your camera off or chose not to to enter meeting. 2 As part of Personal data protection Rules if it is being recorded then they have to inform people it is being recorded 3 The press are not members of the WST so why should they be invited to a meeting where a such importance lies with both the buyers and also the members selling the club R and R certainly don’t want any negativity should the members vote against their deal 4 is there any evidence as yet that they plan to make a documentary or other media filming, if there is then They would need to seek permission from the members after the deal goes through, as if the vote is negative any filming would be scrapped anyway This is just my thinking on this. |
