To be fair we were awesome for 20 minutes and the better side even after Ponticelli went off, creating more chances than Notts Co for the rest of the game.

But it was hard work and we are carrying too many passengers - the wing backs don’t quite do enough winging, Jordan Davies is anonymous every time he plays (massively overated), Durrell needs shipping out, and Angus is a bit of a flippity gibbet.

Wasn't it about 6 hours before the end of the transfer window that the call came in? I'd call that last minute. We had to leave him at the motorway services!

It appears that, not only can't we sign players from the English pyramid as we are Welsh, but we can't recall from the Welsh league as it is not in their transfer window.

I don't know, however, if Caernarfon can cancel the loan of their own volition, but, frankly, what would be in it for them?
£5k would probably do it

I am no Keates fan but the opening 20 minutes were best we played this season. Desperately unlucky to lose 2 strikers. Yes he probably should have put jarvis on rather than durrell but we still had a few decent chances to score even after JP went off eg Durrell and RHJ towards the end

A season changing 24 hours.

Keates’ only game plan was to pump the ball up to Kwame and hope for a knock down.

We started well today but when Ponticelli went off and Durrell came on we lost all shape and bizarrely continued to play route 1 with two strikers who don’t have the physique to win headers.

For me, that is season over, unless a miracle occurs and we are able to bring in reinforcements.

Hugely disappointing because it felt like Kwame and Dior were gelling as a partnership.

Notts County were sh1te.

Chesterfield will have had to approach Blackpool first, to register their interest. Blackpool would have then told us someone was interested. Chesterfield and Yussuf then talk. Keates will have known there was interest before hand that there was a possibility he was leaving.
