Didn't go, but sounded like there is still WIP.

Nevertheless, an away win at Eastleigh tops off a good start.

PP will have to look at squad rotation for Monday, as there will be some tired legs after today's hard fought game. We could also do with a few more faces before the transfer window shuts.

Notts County will be no push-over, but we shouldn't fear them, either. Hope Mullin gets a few; will do his confidence -- not that he needs it -- a lot of good.

Should be one hell of a home game!

Good win at a tough place, both teams had chances but as others have said we’re still work in progress and it seemed we had a bit of a disjointed pre season.

I thought the defence needs time to settle, but in the second half seemed a lot more composed. Lennon was solid. Tozer maybe seemed a little nervous, understandable considering he only signed yesterday. Hayden was solid.

Hayden started the move for Hyde's first, with a great ball from the back. They've obviously been told to keep it on the floor, and it went from Lainton to Hayden, to Mullin to Hyde then in.

Not spectacular, but I wasn't expecting them to be considering they've not played with each other yet. I can see in a few weeks time when it all comes together that this will be a solid team at the back, with flair going forward.

Mullin was taken off and seemed surprised, whether he's being rested for Monday or not remains to be seen. He played ok. Dior came on instead of him and actually looked really dangerous and could have had a couple, and set up a couple.

Can't ask for more than a win, but this side's got real potential.

Luke Young and JD both sounded like they showed up well. No coincidence I expect.
