My dad was brought up in Rhos and used to travel to the Racecourse by train to watch matches before the Second World War. He took me to my first match in about 1963. He’d be amazed by what is going on.

My Dad Albert Reay who took me to my first match Wxm v Port Vale in the late sixties....I got him a brick in the wall so he could always be with me and my son at the match! I still hear his voice when we've gone 1 nil up and he is still shouting "time up ref" even though there's 15 mins to go!

When the take over was announced I had a little laugh because my old man if he was still around would have been straight on the phone asking who Ryan Reynolds was 😃. I’m not sure what he would have made of this week but I know he would have said I bet we loose on Saturday. He then when we did loose would spend Saturday and most of Sunday being grouchy 😁. I wonder where I get it from.
