Davies apart, our best midfielder cannot get into the team.

I think you are spot on. Stockport have bought their place in the EFL by spending vast amounts of money. If we do not go up through the plays offs I can not see any other club being able to compete next season so eventually we will do the same.

I could see Chesterfield being an issue if we are still in the conference. If he is fit and they can still hang onto him IMHO Tshimanga is out and out the best striker in this league. They also have money to spend given the cup run they had as well.

Nope. Chesterfield are in a corner financially imo given that they had to take a £1m loan off a fan after the furlough money ran out.

I think unless they go up they may well have to sell Tshimanga....

To me in the run in Stockport have looked a lot more controlled and able to ground out when needed. We have had more highs and lows and more drama, but it's all been a bit erratic at times. To me sorting out the midfield is key to getting that control back. Whether we have the right players to do that is debatable, we need to make sure we have better for next season.

Club in a bit of a mess gets hugely wealthy new owner who injects £3m ish (2.6m loan on books?) with some tidy signings then tops the league.

Some are making out it was megabucks v traditional scale club, when really, I don't think there would be much between us - if anything they could have spent more.

Our rev appears off Tiktok / Doc rev as well as the buy out injection, and they have loans going in?

Seems everybody else can see that other than Parky, does Young mow his lawn or take the dogs out, seems to be the managers pet.

I don't see the point of the love in for rivals...I'd rather just never mention them again until we end up in the same league or play them in some future cup tie. Don't really get the weird obsessions people have with other teams, and I'll never understand why people applaud how many away fans have made the journey...flip them
