It doesn't feel like my club any more, simple. I've no personal grievance against the owners and in essence I'm pleased that the club's in the most secure position it's enjoyed for years. But the whole Hollywood circus that's descended on the club, the frankly gratuitous adoration of the new owners and the fact that Wrexham fans seem to have doubled in number overnight, like some act of mitosis, just turns me right off. It feels like the club I knew, loved and felt a true sense of ownership of has been hijacked. I know a couple of others who've experienced the same sense of divorce, and they too no longer have any interest in going to games, so I'm not a complete anomaly.

Better to be "hijacked" by people with good intentions than those looking to turn the ground into a B&Q or to profit off our land. I'm really struggling to understand how the fanbase increasing is a bad thing. Would you prefer to watch crap football with crowds of about 4,000?

I’m basically the polar opposite of this. Also a fan of nearly 40 years, season ticket holder along with my dad for much of that time but had become increasingly disillusioned under trust ownership as I was finding it increasingly difficult to find motivation to support a team who were basically not really worth watching for the price of entrance. The takeover has completely reinvigorated my enthusiasm and I’m so grateful to the owners and think it’s fantastic that we now have an international fan base - the last two seasons have been absolutely incredible to be a Wrexham fan in terms of the match going experience with near 10k crowds every game and also having a team that is actually worth getting behind and paying money to watch. How anybody can feel disconnected by it is a complete mystery to me - long may it continue is all I can say. Thank you Rob and Ryan from the bottom of my heart, I’m sure my dad would agree but he unfortunately got dementia and didn’t really appreciate what had happened to the club and passed earlier in the year.

I never get what people mean when they say 'its not my club anymore'. It wasn't to begin with.

I thought I was the world’s foremost contrarian.

I don't expect much - if any -sense of empathy on this, and those who don't conform to established norms of thinking are often ridiculed for their contrary views. But I can live with that. I thought that someone offering a starkly differing view to that of almost every other fan, might have been welcomed for offering a little balance and insight, but hay, like Jim Diamond, I should have known better.

I get why you feel disillusioned and disenfranchised by the Hollywood stuff and I can certainly acknowledge that contrarian view - absolutely nothing wrong with it and I respect your view.
But I hope you can acknowledge that the Jimmy Saville jibe is more than a little disrespectful to those who welcome the new owners as a breath of fresh air into a club (and town) that was slowly fading into oblivion.
After more than 60 years of supporting Wrexham and in many people's eyes meeting the definition of 'an old codger' I'm thrilled that we have 2 new owners (1 from Hollywood) who respect the club, town and country in a way that countless others haven't.
I hope we do well going forward and in the fullness of time you feel able to rejoin the adventure.
In my mind you will be welcomed back with open arms.

The football lately has been the most fun to watch for the best part of 20 years, if not 30..... I for one wanted us to be successful under fan ownership, but it will never work under a committee, next best thing is "a fan" owning it, and the current owners, whilst not fans when they bought the club, are certainty fans now.
It's nice that our club and north Wales in general is getting positive attention, on a global scale. Some people enjoy being miserable, which is their perogative, and jesus, we've had our share of misery.... but myself i'm just enjoying it all

I understand your issues with the Hollywood stuff, but for me the Jimmy Savile jibe is a really vile one. It's hard to welcome 'balance and insight' when it's offered alongside a comment like that.
