Groin strain I believe. Looked like Mendy was stretching the hammy's just before he went off on Saturday so expect him to be missing. The injury list is relentless

Never thought I'd say this...

Throw McAlinden into the mix for LWB - he surprised a few people v Aldershot with just how solid he was defensively and he offered a real attacking threat when he came on.

I've always been pretty critical od Macalinedn at wing back , but he was actually pretty decent on Saturday . He'd be far from my first choice, but if he played as he did against Aldershot, I'd feel less uneasy than I have been every game before now

I think the difference is that McAlinden is actually 100% fit. Mendy clearly isn't and seemed to pick up another knock just before he was subbed on the hour.

yes agreed ...I actually think he's a decent player , just not best suited to wing back ... but if we see more like we had from him on Saturday , I'll be happy

Didn't Parky say he has stomach issues, and couldn't put a time frame on when he'd be back?

I still think Mendy is the better option.

I was excited for Mendy to get a good run in the team.

But he's been really poor the last 2 games. Although I thought he was decent against Sheff Utd.

If we have to rely on McAlinden we may aswell give up on the title.
