Does no-one think Cannon should be in there?

Are we a stronger all round team with Cannon -Jones-lee in midfield and O'Connor at LCB, I really liked how he would win the ball and carry it into midfield end of last season creating overloads in the middle of the park

Young, Jones , Lee for me.

Then Cannon, Jones, Lee. Cannon is a better footballer than Young but disappears from games.

O Connor has much potential in a three man central defensive unit. Could even play a John Stones 50/50 centre half / midfield role.

I’d like to see Cannon on the right side of midfield. O’Connor, Cannon and Lee are the best three we have.

if it works, less likely to have hoof ball with these three in midfield probably and more likely to get into the playoffs

With my choice Cannon is the unlucky one. He, IMO, seems to be competing with O Connor for the holding role.
I get that O Connor has excelled whilst playing LCB but he really should be starting in midfield. When he has we have gone up a notch.

Lee has to start for his workrate, creativity and pure goal threat.
Jones has to start as the box to box as his 'engine' is phenomenal..I'd love to see his stats for how much ground he covers in a game.

But, at the end of the day, we aren't the manager and we all have our opinions! The only one that counts is Parky's...

ToC, Jones, Lee

I don't dislike Cannon but for me he takes too many touches and gets dispossessed in dangerous areas of the pitch.

Agree regarding Cannon.

But like other signings before, he may just need some time to bed in. He could come really good after a full pre season and a run in the team.
