The team looked so slow in the first half. The midfield just looked... lost? Better in the second half after what I would assume was some enthusiasm by Parky.

And when Mullin, McClean and Jones came on everything shifted.

My takeaways were that Mullin, Jones and McClean changed the game (although we were in top most of the second half really). Always good for Mullin to notch another goal., and nice to see McClean get his first Wrexham goal too. Both were fantastic after coming on.

If the players who played the whole game McNicholas, Hosannah and Bickerstaff all had good games. Davies stepped up a notch after the subs. Cleworth and Boyle looked very comfortable too.

I really like that Rhys Walters for Port Vale. One to keep an eye on.

Was he their number 24 ? Looked very good.

I hope so. Macalinden showed tonight he can't play in Midfield, so he's essentially covering the wing backs, and Hosannah is a much better player than he is. He seems a really nice guy but just isn't at the standard we need.

Of course as soon as we list Bryce in the squad he'll get injured.
