I wonder if they would have brought Mullin and McClean on if they weren't already out for this weekend? Either way kind of hilarious they went all in just enough to win.

Nothing wrong with picking up wins. Hope we draw LFC U21s for Ro32. Hope Parky throws out the same starting XI as today for the rest of the tourney and just see how far they can go (Go for it with the first team if this lot can get them to the quarters). 30-35' won't kill any first teamers.

Bringing Mullin and McClean on won the game , both were different class.

McNicholas is very good also.

Enjoyable watch.

My takeaways were that Mullin, Jones and McClean changed the game (although we were in top most of the second half really). Always good for Mullin to notch another goal., and nice to see McClean get his first Wrexham goal too. Both were fantastic after coming on.

If the players who played the whole game McNicholas, Hosannah and Bickerstaff all had good games. Davies stepped up a notch after the subs. Cleworth and Boyle looked very comfortable too.

I really like that Rhys Walters for Port Vale. One to keep an eye on.

Strong second half, Mullin and McClean were just too much for them and got us the win. I’m also a fan of McNicholas, so far he’s done well for himself. He had one brilliant save in the first half in particular.
