On another note, so to speak. For those wanting to sing the Welsh national anthem at games can they please learn the words and how to pronounce them properly.

It wouldn't be so bad if they could sing or even hum in tune!

its 3 home matches, you are in a minority and must have liked mumbling heavy breathing and anniversary announcements half way through the second half. Where we sit we can now hear all the announcements clearly even though we are only really interested in the 50:50. Spencers lad is doing OK and far better than some of the away day announcers.

Wasn't really a dig to be fair it's an opinion but I get where you're coming from.

You rarely fail to find an opportunity to have a pop at him and I'd usually ignore it as everyone is entitled to an opinion. Bringing him up in a thread like this though? Ridiculous. Other than the fact the young lad doing it is doing a good job, what on earth makes you think Mark would be interested? Totally different job to commentating.

Think some of you need to realise that Mark and the vast majority of people who work at the club are die hard Wrexham fans who either read here or have family/friends who do. Bit of respect wouldn't go amiss even if you don't like what they do.

I thought Steve was a proper character and a true red. I was prepared to forgive him the odd eccentric faux pas. His dad also did the job for many years before him and as a club I thought we really value our history? I had no idea the 'new' announcer was Spencer's lad but I do know what I like. And that high pitched nasal drone is bloody awful. He has all the charisma of a cat litter box after a weekend away
