10th is what i have in my head. I'd class that as a successful season.

That was with adding the likes of mclean and okonkwo

I thought L2 was a clear step up fom the NL tbh ,, far more clinical and much more football played

When the FGR game was called off last minute we diverted to watch Bristol Rovers v Cheltenham. Thought both were very poor playing a lot of hoofball and that we would have beaten them both so on the basis of that felt with our current team (and their placings this year) we would be safe from relegation around mid table. If we recruit well think we could be top 10 sniffing around the play offs if the side really gels, which I'll be more than happy with for our first season.

It’ll be significantly faster. I know a few Shrewsbury season ticket holders and went to our game there this season. We weren’t our best but if we’re honest we were a bit lucky. They were quicker than us all over the pitch, and am assured by friends that they improved significantly after that match. Still only just finished above relegation spots.

We need to sign younger speedier players as I don’t think hoof it football will be successful at a higher level. Got a horrible feeling a few of our starters will struggle.

Be happy with 10th and a consolidation season whilst we phase out some of the players who’ve been with us since NL. That Blackburn game took some getting over, and I don’t want a full season of that.

Need to utilise the loan market again next season. Some of the best players in the division are loans of young, up and coming players from Premier League clubs.

2 of the best players last season in league 2 were Okonkwo and Louie Barry both Premier League loans.

If you look at the 'Retained Lists' thread most teams are having many more loanees than us.

Won't be easy and theres some big clubs possibly going to be in L1 but i think we can still get around PO places.

We do need to recruit smart in the close season as we are not going to be able to out spend everyone this time. We badly need some real pace in the squad.
