Interesting how we are seen by other clubs

Supporters from other clubs wont be close to Wrexham as we are - they only have the recent past to formulate an opinion and on that basis who can blame them for thinking we wont do much this season.

Where will we finish ? and how will results go ?

All we can say so far is that DK and his team have transformed us from a shambles, got rid of a lot of players who were poor and brought in better quality players with experience - we still have an inexperienced manager who hasn't done it before and a team hastily thrown together who may take time to find their feet. At this stage could any of us say that DK could have done much better. The transformation since MIlls left and DK took over is nothing more than breathtaking.

Similarly, if we are being asked who we think will be our main challengers for honours most will tip the likes of Tranmere, Aldershot & Dagenham due to last season's league placings and Hartlepool and Orient due to their Football League experiences and parachute payments.

In some ways we maybe the Lincoln City for 2017 / 18 - transformed by the right man at the right time in Dan Cowley.

One thing is for sure we will have to earn the right to gain promotion, it wont be handed to us on a plate. It's a good foundation so far but we have to work hard on and off the pitch to make sure the work done so far is not wasted.
Not looked forward to a new season like this in a number of years.

Lets see how important Darlington was to him.

I think this season the league is weaker than the last few and we look in paper stronger I would be disappointed if we don't finish in the top 6 this isn't asking a lot really this season I look at the likes of Salford who will join us next season and I really believe we need to go for it this season and if we are there abouts after Xmas then a fans fund should be put in place to get over the finish line. Once out of this hell of a league we will never be back I'm sure of that!!

Thing is, there was similar levels of optimism here when Mills first took over, and the signings he was making. I think it's best to just wait and see.

Difference is most of us had never heard or seen most of his misfits!

I actually feel it's stronger. Or at least more competitive. There may not be an obvious champion favourite (Tranmere maybe?) but there are loads of teams who could potentially make the play offs and it's hard to pick four obvious relegation candidates.
