I know you meant Maidstone and not Maidenhead but after our vovictory in Berkshire I and others wrote about wanting to see Wright starting based on his 10 minute cameo that night. It took Carrington's suspension for that to happen and look at the result - 3 wins, 5 goals for and none against. I felt on Monday at Boreham Wood that there was much more cohesiveness to our play. I really think we're starting to click.

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;

If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;

If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with wornout tools:

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;

If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!'

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings - nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;

If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run -
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man my son!

It's football fans and football in general if you support a team it's high & Lows, at this club we have been having lows for far too long,but when the highs come it's worth the wait, that's the difference between loyal supporters and bandwagon supporters, fans who go to a match pay their dues have a right to moan if what's on display ain't good, just as they have a right to be up when we win, it's football this clubs fans in that respect are no different than at other clubs.

The pleasing thing for me is the wins on there bounce I'm struggling to remember the last time that happened and to top it off 3 clean sheets.

The biggest disappointment for me yesterday was 2-0 up in the last minute we get a corner well on top and we don't try for a 3rd but piss about timewasting in the corner I don't like that negative approach at home when we're one of the leagues lowest scorers.

We're riding high at the moment but let's not get carried away we have a very small squad and the pitches are good at the moment, remember Mills starting off the season even better than this in his first season and we know how that ended up, the posts were the same on here then we were going to be champions after a good run ( i was guilty myself of thinking we would challenge).

At end of the day we as fans all want the same to get back in the league.

"Let's not get carried away" is my whole point - in either direction. Especially when criticising youngsters who are giving their all in the 5th tier of English football.
