The best thing is that we know that we still have funds to strengthen the squad. It looks like we have a solid defence and that gives us a chance.

1993/94 Milan won the league. Played 34 games scored 36 goals conceded 15. Clearly we are not Milan, however the point is their defence was their backbone and they ground results out. While I agree we could do with some more creativity and goals, if we don't get them it doesn't mean we are done for.

That's a handy stat to have up your sleeve!

Good old Italian catenaccio style. Although we're not set-up particularly defensively, we just have good defenders, and have limited the opposition to relatively few chances thus far.

It's always interesting to read other fans thoughts and I fully appreciate every one is entitled to their opinions. I would however like to point out that we have just won the last 3 games without conceding a goal and Hurst has played right back in these. Nothing against Roberts but just saying!!

Do agree a couple of additions to the squad will see us in with a good chance of promotion. Need Louis Moult to carry on scoring then being transferred for a large fee the minute the transfer window opens in January giving Dean the funds to go out and really get the players needed for the final push
