To increase the distance between fans in order to deter projectiles being thrown.

Looks like substantial areas of Tech end of both the Yale and Mold Road will be closed off, unable to select tickets online in the last blocks of both and none at all in the tech end paddock.

But other fans at other derby games sit either side of one thin line of stewards so your not making sense. Why can other fans sit 4 feet apart in the same stand at say Man Utd v Man City but Wrexham having netting over seats in separate stands. But surely only the bottom 3rd of each of the side areas needs to be netted off.
Fans could sit above this section and not be any danger of throwing missiles.

Its complete and utter madness what happens for the Tranmere and Chester games - it would not happen anywhere else.

Web site states we need a ticket, other than season ticket holders to enter the ground.
