We're not crying out for a keeper. We've kept the most clean sheets in the league? Get him in the summer.

I'm not sure I agree with this. Yes, quality over quantity, but you do need minimum quantity of players too, if only to relieve tired players. Actually that was probably massanka's strength.

I would not imagine there would be much money for a quality striker, but hopefully there would be enough to do a particular job e.g. a cheap brute, or an old timer who can put his foot on the ball, or more likely its another kid.

We all believe we are still chasing other targets and if it works great but if not and SQ improves us 10% that will be enough to guarantee playoffs and who knows

So what about tomorrow when we do not have a striker in our squad to come off the bench, whos fault is that?
Its called tactics. Holroyd can play up front or left midfield behind the front two. If ,for example, you take off Boden you push Holroyd up and bring on a midfielder. All season we have had the likes of Massanka and Reid serving little purpose and now we want to complain when we have a decent attack that can be manipulated.

I did complain that we do not have a striker to come off the bench,if we sign another striker he would be in the starting line up so that Boden could come off the bench,You mention our price bracket other teams in the past have picked up players for modest fees and have scored many goals. So who do you class as the quality in our squad Teifi Red?,i could mention many a player who would not come into that bracket,And finally you did not answer my question. How is it Massanka ended up playing 25 games for us this season?

On current form I wouldn't be dropping Boden. Certainly not for a player who signed less than 24 hours before a game.

Let us say Boden goes off after 70 minutes,it would be better to have a fresh pair of legs up front than a tiring Holroyd. You sound if your happy with a 3 year plan to get out of this division, shall we save the money that we have for the coming years.

Talk about jumping to conclusions ! Where in gods name did I indicate that I had a three year plan ? I am simply saying that we do have options currently - particularly away from home. Yes I would like a 4th striker but I am guessing the best we can hope for is a loanee.

By the way give me a tired Holroyd versus a fit reid/massanka. If its just fresh legs we need then we can get anyone in.

Yes a tired Holroyd is better than massanka and reid.So why does it have to be a loanee, surely the funds are there to buy a striker

Massanka was a cheap option and to quote you, a striker to come off the bench. You have complained about not having a 4th striker to come off the bench. Keates used Massanka in the hope he'd "click" and start firing them in. Sadly he didn't. So, despite the need for a 4th striker, it has to be someone who can challenge for a place. Now, I will take your offer up. Name me some players. Who knows, Keates might be reading this thread
