What if it’s pay as you play deal?

Cameron Stewart, don’t think he will join. Heard he’s waiting on his old chums from United to come in for him, but they are not keen. Says it all about him I think.

Maybe next couple of players will be marquee signings we have been expecting.

"We’ve got two or three more players roughly to come in when the quality becomes available,” he told the club’s website.

You'd think so with this comment. He must know who he wants but they might not become available.

When the quality becomes available? What does that mean? Because as far as I can see he has a squad of 16 players and is going to have to get a move on with increasing that just to get games played. He's making it sound like he's laden with options and it's just about adding occasional quality and that is absolutely not the case.

If I was Sam Rickitts, I would say nowt to no one about his plans for the team. Just about anything he says is open to ridicule on RP. Crazy really. Lets just judge the lad on results, shall we? Some on here honesty believe that Sam should run all potential signings past them first!
I don't remember John Neal or Arfon getting all this pre season flack. Oh that's it, its all this social media openness crap. Lets just watch games, and form opinions from there.

Aye; time is short and anyone who comes in now is going to be behind on per-season prep. This is the case even if they are bought as they haven't started to gel with our current players.

We can only hope the risk of leaving it so late pays off. It's certainly clear at the moment that the ratio of 'punt' to 'proven quality' up front is not right at all.

Fans are going to moan (and that applies to any club) regardless. If he says nothing people will moan. If he says something people will moan. They will jump to conclusions, make stuff up and when he does sign someone they will slag off the signing because it isn't who they would have signed. He can't win but hopefully he's not too bothered. The real criticism or praise will.come during the season.
