A few moans about Fondup on here today yes he is far from the finished article and will make mistakes, give the lad chance he is the league's leading scorer when was the last time we had that?

For the penalty he didn't get I thought it was a stonewall one,but I will wait to see the highlights, having said that he must of watched to much of the World Cup, he is diving quite a lot I hope Sam has a word. When he goes down it's so dramatic.

The biggest thing he needs to work on his is not challenging in the air for a ball against a defended, his feet don't leave the floor as he watches the defender head it clear.

But we have a very good player in the making here and if he carries on scoring the vultures will be out at Xmas.

I've moaned about his finishing this weekend but I thought he took his goal incredibly well, out muscling the defender to get in front of him and put the ball away brilliantly.

Yes he is young and has a lot to learn but 5 goals in 6 games is a great start and long may it continue. When was the last time we had a striker as prolific as that?

He can take a lot of confidence from this start but I hope he learns from his mistakes as he makes many of them.

Maybe a few videos of Dalglish, commit the keeper then lift over him.
A lot easier to blast the ball past an advancing keeper than risk fluffing the chip. Plus had he cleared the keeper there was no pace on the ball and a defender would never got back to stop it going over the line

He didn't look completely fit to me yesterday. Noticed him rubbing his legs and stretching early on in the game and a few times throughout. Didn't seem to be attacking with a much purpose as previous games. Maybe he was still feeling the effects of the knock in the previous game against Eastleigh?

We will have a hell of a player when he is fit he left their defence for dead 3 times. Many proven scorers take 2 or 3 chances to get a goal and this lad has a total of less than 20 NL games under his belt .
