It’s bizarre.

Fair enough If it’s not your cup of tea.

But at the end of the day it’s free content that no one is forcing you to watch. That people have volunteered their free time to provide.

I find the need to criticise to be pathetic.

Just don’t watch it. Too easy to have a go at others.

As a kid in the 60's I sold programmes on the Kop. I had a 'complimentary' to use anywhere in the ground. Occasionally I'd sit in the press box. I feel guilty that I received this privilege. (We were paid, too).

Criticism is one thing, but that is OTT. Must be more to it.

I agree that some of the criticism is ridiculous/OTT, but not sure why you think there are pro media people on here? Has anyone claimed to be?

Granted they hardly go Paxman in interviews and some of the match reports look like they've been written by a 10-year-old. However, they give up their free time to provide us with some decent content after every single game which shouldn't bee taken for granted.

As for the tracksuits...

You shouldn't feel guilty. The club has had many a freeloader attached and fan ownership has ended that culture. In its place is an extreme reaction though; a culture where god forbid anyone gets a break. If you're working for the club then flash your pass and walk in - anyone who is bothered by that should get over themselves.

I sold programmes through the 80's & 90's didn't get paid though

Why do you constantly knock things? The club are doing it to look more professional. What if a big FA Cup tie was to come here with more press and he is stood in front of a crap board in a half lit room. It’s a move in the right direction you can’t knock the club for that. Have a day off
