Lawler looks Riley esque. Seems to run and kick the ball very similar to him. Did his job. When you're chasing a winner late on you need MFT in there because when chasing a goal you generally go long and you need your big horrible fker in there. Point not enough. Got to beat Braintree.

A point gained against a decent Halifax team who were great on the counter attack. Some superb ball's to the wings for their number 10, who knew how to play on the shoulder of our defenders and had them all for pace also.

We were way too negative at times, playing it sideways or back to the CB's rather than through the midfield or out to the flanks. This really stopped our momentum and we hardly broke through a stubborn Halifax defence all evening.

Pyke had a decent first half on the flank, but was not strong enough down the centre. When Fondop went off, nothing stuck for us.

Carra kept the busy Kosylo quiet and was my MOTM tonight.

Great to see JJ and Ruthers back in the starting line up. Both need more minutes to get back to match sharpness I feel.

It’s worrying that just like last season we can’t beat the good sides of the league, especially at home. The only top 10 side we’ve beaten is Boreham Wood and we all know we were battered for most of that match.

When Fondop goes off you know there’s no goal coming. Holroyd is looking like a waste of a contract to me, he hasn’t done anything of note for a long long time now.

For all the ‘forwards’ we’ve got there’s still only Fondop who is a pure centre forward. The rest are all these floaty, drift in and out wide players.

Lainton is a very good keeper, kept us in it once again I thought.

Plenty of effort but very little end product. Cant rely on clean sheets again, taking our 2 top scorers off didn't help. Great turn out again.

A terrific game and their defence was very impressive . Fondop offered our main threat and should never have gone off .

Lawlor ? Oh dear . Lost all his headers and was Carrington’s biggest problem. In his defence he hasn’t played all season and was knackered.

Fondop needs a kick up the arse and someone to tell him he is no good to the team sat on his backside.
