I am amazed that the authorities have let this game go ahead with an 8pm kick off. Even the most mild mannered guy has the potential to become irrational, when they have had a belly full of ale. Our most recent trip to Chesterfield springs to mind. Yet another case of a tv company calling the tune. I can accept that all the glamour clubs in the top flight are driven by the income that a televised game brings, but now its filtered down to our level!
Liverpool/Man Utd pay players £100k a week, so they have to look at all income streams. But us? Prostitution, by another name?

Plus it doesn’t take a crime expert to see that this game will attract trouble.

I go to the police and say “by the way I’ve heard there might be trouble at Saturdays Wrexham Newport game”

Police response would probably something along the lines of “no shit Sherlock”.
