Definitely this now we solid foundations its about 'maintain & improve' our chances rather than 'boom & bust'. Hopefully, those bleak days of thinking the club was on the up, only for news to break our debts and interest payments meant we had to sell our assets.

Fingers crossed BH's squad will have a bit more quality and more strength in depth. It's already looking a better balance with youth, players reaching their peak and experience than we have for many seasons. If BH can add another 3 or 4 we should be good to go.

Yes let's blow it all and don't go up!! What then? Isn't it better to have 2 bites of the cherry than 1? After all did you expect us to pay AFC Fylde £200k and £3/4K wages for DRowe??? What if he has a major injury - what if we don't go up!??

Only way that's heading is Liquidation.

Yes it's fkin frustrating but let's all try and keep our feet on the ground a bit with a touch of realism. There were 7/8 teams with more cash to spend on players than us and to finish 4th was a good showing, if Sammy snake was at the helm at the end of the season, I firmly believe we would of won the league. Unfortunately, he done us up a kipper and then it left us in a difficult position. Some mistakes were obviously made regarding the manager role, but at least they were honest ones. Let's move on the past is the past....

Let me think?
We had lost 4 games on the bounce.
The team needed strengthening.
The midfield lacked creativity.
We had money to spend.
Gateshead needed money and had to off load players.....
Decent player for a team going well.

Fk me here was me thinking we wanted promotion this season and in our position we needed a couple of better players.
So we get an overweight, unfit reserve with no work ethic.

Not sure what I was expecting then.

Diluting the money doesnt give us 2 bites as it wasnt enough to split it.

Thanks for the detail seems some just want a rant.

Is he any good? as I don't recall him playing against us and shining.

But yes will he want to move down here and does he want to come and if he's a midfielder I think we were lining up kemmy Augustein who to be fair has a far better track record. What would the frothers say if we signed Olley instead of Augustein.

From what I've seen of him he's decent. But he's from the North East and I suspect he'll end up at Hartlepool. You've got to think they'll have first dibs on anyone decent who was at the Heed and doesn't go into the league.

I always forget about Harrogate.

There are loads of factors players consider at this level before signing. People forget it isn't Champ Man.
