All well and good buying a striker who scored goals elsewhere... But i think we dont look at who he was playing with and what system he was playing in.

If we are so insistent on playing hoofball then get the players in who suit the system. Until we buy some decent midfielders and a dmf then long ball is what we have...

we need the long yearning for midfield general,it is as simple as that someone with class and passion,ie Keates type, Liam Noble(hpools) best in the league for me, thats got to be our class of player not players on loan, they have to go back and then it disrupts all the forward momentum,we have to spend now ASAP, I no its outside the window but drastic times call for drastic measures,a few envelopes gettin passed about wouldnt go a miss, others do it all the time, the real world is here

Grant ,, many was happy with this signing. and was shocked he had dropped down from higher league to play for us. even tho he had played in the legues above.. but due to fleetwood getting barton in and rumors they didnt get on. most was happy with this signing

Stockton & Tolit again bth came here with bags of potentil.. to the point everybpdy wanted Tollit back when he went back off his loan.

the fact that non of them have performed as we had hoped... doesnt show anthing bad towards the board or management .. its just people like yourself trying to create flames from nothing to fuel the fire of negativity.

you can post WITH hindsight and say they aint worked out.. or didnt perform for us at all ala stockton ... but say its the boards fault because they allowed the signings of good potntial and players who have done well prior or played at a higher level imo is stupid.

wont be long before you lot are slating the board for them signing Hooper ...
and will blame them for his injuries.
I'd have to say that if we signed 4 players with bags of potential but non e of them performed then that would at least flag up management/coaching deficiencies in my eyes. It also seems clear that Oswell was carrying a groin injury from day one and that Stockton was nowhere near fit?

Wasn't Simon Ainge injured when he came in on loan from Harrogate as well? That was when we were begging for someone upfront.

Aye, and we took in Franks and Deverdics in the same window.

You are ‘blob on’ with that post mate. Total sense, but don’t expect the Passionistas to agree with you.

Just don't have enough threads or comments on this . Thanks for the heads up
