We need a dead cat bounce to take us into January when recruitment can happen. We cannot wait and squander more points.
The problems stems higher up than Keates.Sacking him will just herald the next disastrous appointment.

It would be comical if the whole future of the club wasn't at stake

I don't think it's an exaggeration to say we are officially in crisis but still there's no movement at board level

I agree.

However short-term this management team has got to go.

Changes higher-ups can happen after; but we have the double problem of the board not knowing how to employ competent people on the playing side.

The whole situation is the pits.

If the board want to stay they cannot get rid of Keates, it’s that simple. If they realise they’ve screwed up majorly I imagine they’ll walk first and whatever happens to the club after will decides Keates fate.

If Keates goes we need a new manager, board and backroom staff. There’s not a backbone in 99% of the players either so it would be nailed on relegation. The players won’t get us through despite this either. Jennings and Grant are quick enough to open their mouths to referees and the fans, but won’t demand effort from the coaching staff, fellow players or the board. Not a leader in sight I’m afraid.

Best hope we got I think is either a miraculous turn around on the field, bringing someone with experience to assist on the field, board resign and Keates manages to pull the squad together or everyone leaves and we just get lucky.

I disagree.

They are more likely to sack Keates to try and save their own skins. They have plenty of form for this. They may also blame McNeil for the appointment.

Don't think the blame has to be placed on anyone.
Appointment made in good faith with the best of intentions ( Though I didn't like it) Sorry folks and particularly Mr Keates, it ain't working out like we hoped,
Goodbye DK and AD to start with.
Or do it the Spurs way. Seek a new manager and agree terms and then get rid of DK.

Keates saying we’ve got no strikers, why aren’t Oswell and Mcintosh knocking Keates door down each Monday showing desire to play, challenging him? Which one of the senior players have pulled Hooper aside and berated him for taking the club for a ride.

We’ve got no structure off the pitch and no structure on it. I can accept off games and bad performances but to see an acceptance of failure I can’t. You don’t get to bottom of the league on bad luck and not taking chances.
Said this many times before but if you get to the game early watch how we warm up compared to the opposition. We warm up like its a kick around at the park whilst the opposition get there players fired up.

Who was it last season that refused to warm up and still dicked us 3-0?

Need to add Darlington into the taxi.

Possibly, I just feel they’ve made their bed and now have to lie in it.

They went against a large minority of the fans wishes by appointing him. They’ve got it wrong with the appointments of Davies, Barrow, Newell, Hughes and Keates. How can they possibly be trusted to run the club when every decision they make is a terrible costly one for a club supposed to be living within its means.

They’ll bang on about Keates and Ricketts being a success but 2/7 is awful when we’ve had to pay the others off.

I don’t get there often anymore, never there early when I do, but every time I do it seems to be players doing their own thing practicing volleys and headers. Defence lined up in a row, ball thrown up and take turns to head. Keepers practicing long kicks to each other. Few shots from Oakes. Keep ball in a box.

If I had to do the same thing every time I’d probably be going into it half asleep.
