It’s possible. Still plenty of games to go to, to bridge a gap of only 9 points. Teams are beating eachother too, so if we can go on a title winning form from now on we could do it. Sadly still don’t think we have a quality to do it.

I think it's better to focus on the threat or target that is closest rather than what you wish for.

9 points off the playoffs and 4 points off relegation...until that reverses I wont be considering play-offs.

Best scenario for this season is we stay up but that means Keates will stay. From this he needs to get rid of the dead weight that Hughes brought in and start building for next season. What he has bought in so far this transfer window looks a lot better than previous.

If he can get a stable foundation to build on then we might have a chance next season but this is Wrexham and you never know what will happen.

The problem is this season we are too close for comfort. Last time DK was able to reduce the playing budget and and prepare for next season. A couple of injuries at the back and it will soon get nervy again, but hopefully the defence will be strengthened this week. That said, good to see young Cleworth on the bench today and Sergent just missed the cut for the 16.

Purely from a mathematical stance.
Based on the last place playoff average points so far, they would end on 70pts. We would therefore need 33pts to over take. 10 wins, 3 draws and 1 loss is a tall order for our last 14 games.
The first priority is safety and we should be aiming to win every single game. As today proves we can beat anyone, but Aldershot the other week is a reminder we can also lose to anyone.
As much as I think we’ll probably end up mid table (which is where I think we deserve to be), whilst it’s still mathematically possible we should keep going. Only Wrexham could go from being bottom of the table just before Christmas to getting promoted.
