Is he talking about the Leader and the DP here? Please. They are two of the most feeble spineless local press you could ever wish to meet. Both firmly at the end of the clubs strings and neither would dare to criticise with any sort of conviction.

One of the worst Wrexham performances ever,Rooney was playing very deep and on many occasions lost the ball when playing in front of the back four,a few arguments were happening in the mold road stand when a group of clappers were not happy at Wrexham fans booing a pathetic performance.

My god the lineup and bench in that game. Never seen anything worse in all the years.

The board should have gone then after allowing Mills to give up, go on holiday drinking all summer and sign all that rubbish associated with Jake Speight.

I remember the fanfare when Bakare signed, many on here were waxing lyrical about his highlight reel which shown him tripping over the ball, knocking through balls out for goal kicks and knocking shots 10 yards over the bar. You had people defending the signing saying he had ‘potential’ he was 29 for gods sake and scored about 17 goals in 300 games and some were putting money on him being top scorer, the club has been a joke for years.

It was the old “I’ll judge him in a Wrexham shirt” brigade who were thinking he was the next Ronaldo.

I distinctly remember looking at his career path and it was obvious to anyone with a brain he was going to be out of his depth. We were the biggest club he’d ever played for, he couldn’t believe his luck.
