I’d say that was evidence the majority of fans don’t want Keates.

Not defending the inept board but the resolution you quote was this month the question was about reappointment Keates at the time.

Wasn't the petition signed by many due to Keates reappointment and many more grievances?

And it was signed by over 500 people wasn’t it? A lot more than those who could be bothered to vote in the AGM.

Its all semantics and spin isn't it, maybe they mean before they actually appointed him there wasn't evidence people didn't want him but what evidence do they expect to have seen?

At least they have given straight answers on Manny and Grant's contracts and Darlington's position

So why did they hire all the extra security around the directors box?

I don't think saying the manager didn't want to announce about Manny Smith contract appointment is enough, we need to know why. Also in terms of the Grant contract why was he offered a contract that nobody else seems to have been offered. In terms of the Hughes appointment I feel I could understand it more if they explained why they felt he was the best man for the job.

I know RP and Facebook doesn't speak for all the fans but there were a good number on here and in the Facebook group who were voicing discontent about the possibility of Keates returning.
