I for one would be glad to see the Sky bubble burst. Millionaire footballers at seventeen is just plain wrong.
I have no issues with millionaire footballers at 17. A lot of these players don’t have the privileged backgrounds that wealthy young people in other professions have. Good for them making the most out of their talent.

I personally think the premiership should look after those teams struggling post Covid. What I don’t believe is lower league clubs should be able to overspend knowing if they fail they will be bailed out, this is simply not fair to those clubs who are not overspending.

So giving a 17year old the same money in one year that a so called person from "a privileged background" could earn in 25 years is right ?
what a load of balderdash .

Thanks to the Salary Caps introduced this season in L1 and L2 this will be much more difficult in the future.

The playing field is being leveled out. Overspending is mainly on player wages and transfer fees so this will help a lot in making football more sustainable. Meanwhile here we are planning to ...............

I think a 17 year old earning millions from their talent, is far more deserving than someone like the Duke of Westminster earning money because of the death of their dad.

My guess is clubs will find ways around it. To be honest it won't worry me if they do,. I have always believed if I win the lottery I should be able to invest millions into Wrexham if I choose.
